The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts brings the possibility of arts education and appreciation to locals and visitors of all ages, with 34,000 square feet of exhibition space for the visual and performing arts, literary readings and musical events. Six dedicated galleries offer ever-changing arts exhibitions by local and nationally renowned artists while a broad spectrum of classes for adults and children vary in topic from pottery to filmmaking to craft projects. The center is in downtown Lubbock, near the lovely Buddy Holly Plaza.
