Tracing the history of one of the ingenious ways in which people have learned to generate power, the American Wind Power Center and Museum celebrates more than 150 years of harnessing the wind. Stunning photographic opportunities are possible, with more than 100 windmills on outdoor display, and historical information and further artifacts on display within the museum itself. Located just south of Mackenzie State Park, the center is beside the American Museum of Agriculture.
