The Museum of Texas Tech University boasts a collection of nearly three million items from a wide range of fields, from the visual arts to paleontology to West Texas history. Highlights of the museum's exhibits include art from Sub-Saharan Africa, fossils from long-extinct dinosaurs and vertebrates and the Diamond M Fine Art galleries where the works of contemporary artists are displayed. It is on the university's campus, just west of the National Ranching Heritage Center.
